Joe became interested in practicing Chinese medicine because of his own healing journey. Acupuncture and herbal medicine helps him to find balance, relief, focus, and calm.
As an owner of Ambrosia Healing Arts, Joe combines his experience and knowledge of energy work, personal transformation, and ancient Chinese medicine to create a space in which people can come to relax, heal, and transform their own lives.
Joe is passionate about people living their lives to the fullest. He is a lover of learning, often in unconventional ways. His children are homeschooled and follow their own paths of knowledge and spirit. He and his family find happiness in preparing and eating rich foods from natural ingredients.
Joe attended Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC. There he studied a form of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine called Classical Chinese Medicine. His medical lineage descends through Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation priest of the Jade Purity Tradition of Daoism.
Joe attended the Barbara Brennan School of Healing where he learned a deeper understanding of Energy flow and Human Consciousness.
Joe has apprenticed as a group facilitator with the Hero's Journey Foundation, an organization that uses the work of Joseph Campbell as a model for spiritual growth. He also Completed PsychoEnergetics, a training program where he learned the art of Deep Presence and Facilitation for individuals and their emotional processes.
